My Background
Dr. Mike is the founder and owner of Wisconsin Orthopedic Physical Therapy which opened in May of 2013. He began the practice because he had a vision to change the healthcare industry and patient’s lives by having physical therapy become the first line of defense and primary provider for all musculoskeletal injuries. He has grown the practice with like-minded therapists and staff and believes in taking a proactive approach instead of reactive with all of his patients.
Dr. Mike graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. He received one of the University’s most prestigious awards in 2016 and was named the Graduate Of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D. Award).
Since then he has participated in continuing education courses consisting of manual therapy of the spine and upper/lower extremities, injuries of the overhead athlete, and rehabilitation of the rotator cuff. He has also presented multiple studies at both the state and national level. He is certified in dry needling through Myopain Seminars, which is the premier post-graduate medical and physical therapy continuing education company in the United States for this technique. He has also received his Level 1 CrossFit certification.
In his free time, Dr. Mike enjoys golfing, CrossFit, traveling, watching the Packers/Bucks/Brewers, and most of all spending time with his wife and three kids.
